POINT OF ANGER

It was Diwali night.

9 year old Raju is only son of Vijay and Malti. Raju is intelligent and he maintains balance between studies and play. He is very obedient towards parents, teachers and elders. He was waiting for his father. His father has promised him that he will bring lots of environment-friendly crackers. He was eagerly waiting for his dad. Late by an hour, his dad came at 11pm. Raju asked his dad about crackers. His dad replied “Crackers! Crackers!! Crackers!!!, don’t you see I m tired.” Raju has no guts to say anything after that. It was a festive day; it was a new year; and it was Raju who slept with wet eyes.

28 year old Pritam is a good businessman. He achieved great heights in his work life at a very young age. It was his first diwali after his marriage. He was sitting at home when some unexpected guests arrived. He called Hotel Neelkanth to order some food and milkshakes. It was 12:30pm, the delivery was supposed to be in 30 mins i.e. at 01:00pm. Guests were very close friends to Pritam. Pritam was meeting them after a long time and hence he didn’t want to get disturbed. He was not even replying to calls from his shop. 40 mins gone, still the ordered food didn’t arrived. Pritam got angry. At 01:20pm, when the food arrived. Pritam shouted at the delivery man and told him “Is this the time, you people take to deliver order!!! Do you know your boss is my friend!!! Your boss is with family to enjoy vacations and in his absence, you have become careless towards.” Pritam was so angry that he didn’t allow delivery man to utter a single word.

34 year old Patel is waiter in a hotel. He left home with happiness in mind and smile on face. He was best employee in the hotel. He never says no to any work. Hotel was filled with customer on that day because of diwali festival. His manager called him and told that as all the delivery men are out, so he has go and deliver the order to a customer. Patel agreed to it. He reached the place in 10 mins. He ranged the door bell. Patel was smiling and was all set to wish the person who opens the door. But when door opened, the person shouted him a lot because the order was late by 20 mins. Yes, it was the house of Pritam(the person and incident is mentioned in earlier paragraph). Patel never knew that order is late. He delivered the order as and when he got the parcel. He was not at fault yet he faced the anger. Patel was angry all through the day. He left from his hotel. When he reached home, his son asked him about cracker and Patel shouted his son to transfer his anger. Patel was Vijay Patel – father of 9 year old Raju.

Its so easy to put our anger on someone smaller than us. Smaller, here, means smaller by age or smaller by work status. Pritam’s anger spoiled his own mood for whole day. Also, Pritam put the anger on ‘innocent’ Vijay Patel and Vijay Patel, in turn, put his anger on ‘innocent’ son Raju. Anger spoiled the day of Pritam, Vijay Patel and Raju.

Story doesn’t ends here. After few days, Pritam went to hotel and complained the hotel owner about the incident. As Pritam and hotel owner were friends, hotel owner took the matter seriously.

Patel was called. Patel told that he delivered the food as and when he got the parcel.

Hotel manager was called. Hotel manager told that order contained order of milkshakes and those milkshakes requires a special cream; when we went to the shop, the shop keeper took lot of time hence order took time.

Hotel owner turned his face towards Pritam because Pritam was their supplier for milk and other milk products including that cream which was required for those milk shakes. It was now Pritam’s time to call his people. Pritam called the shopkeeper who manages the shop. Shop keeper told that the key of refrigerator in which cream was not kept on its place. Shopkeeper, further, said that tried to talk to Pritam about the keys but Pritam was not answering the call. Shopkeeper somehow found the key and gave cream.

Pritam didn’t took time realize his mistake and to say sorry. Patel also realized his mistake. Patel purchased some toys for his son Raju to rectify the mistake of day of Diwali.

Like this every story of life has its happy ending.

Few lines for this :
Anger is not a plant
Which should to be watered,
Its weed – something unwanted,
Which need to be cut as by slaughter.
Anger is danger’s mother and problem’s daughter.
It can bring differences and can make relations live shorter.
Remove this from your life and live life as someone who is smarter.
